On Sunday night, a man suffered a gunshot wound - reportedly to his head - near the intersection of Ninth Avenue and Fifth Street in Mount Vernon. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment on injuries that were not clear as of Monday morning.
According to a News12 report, on Sunday, investigators were evaluating an Audi with Massachusetts license plates, which was “surrounded by latex gloves and some blood on the ground.”
